This is a big story these days. When you have about 20 minutes to spare, check out the video that has a lot of people pretty well pissed off.
WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad — including two Reuters news staff.

HB 2347 is that much closer to being a reality. Today in a 36-19 vote, The House voted to send it on to Gov. Jan Brewer.
I like this, I have no problems with possibly living in one of three states not requiring a permit for a concealed weapon. I think it will send . . . → Read More: The Arizona House votes 36-19!

Oh let me just say “YUM”
My friends, with just about 6 days to go, are you ready for this sweet beautiful piece of work? Other folks might suggest that you “Think outside the Bun” but it looks as though KFC just wants to do away with the bun altogether. Using two boneless chicken fillets as the bun and cramming two pieces of bacon, two slices of cheese and some sauce in between, KFC is ready to cure your munchies.

So it all started on Thursday night really with the suggestion of letting some rounds slip when I got home from work. Happily, I obliged with the suggestion from my wife and away we went to a little spot I know of to shoot. With not much daylight to spare, we made our destination in no time.
I noticed a young couple not really dressed for the weather standing at the off-ramp at Table Mesa and I-17. Now this really seemed out of place, but in the back of my mind, I knew we only had a short amount of time before it was dark. My first thought is that they were stuck or broken down somewhere. I figured if they were there when we left, then I’d stop and see what was up.
Sure enough, they were still there when we were leaving so I stopped to check on them. I was right, they were stuck off a trail. Luckily not far, but in soft sand. They were deep and had their Ford Ranger sunk good.
I asked if they needed help getting out but they said they had someone coming and should be OK. With a day off from work the next day, and Darcy not having to work till later on, we opted to stick around until their friend came. Their friend showed up in a Ford F250 ready to help. They got in and Darcy and I followed them to the stuck truck. Or tried to anyhow. It seems the boulders and a 3 foot steep incline mound type thing were not doable in the Ford. I was ready to go with strap and all so offered to see what I could do for them. Bill moved his truck out of the way and I made my way over the mound, through the dry sandy wash and to the little white pick up. Continue reading This is how it went down…

Remember that movie that came out about the same time as ET some 28 years ago? There were also video games of the same name that were the coolest in a dark room with their black lighting and intense cabinet graphics.
The movie I’m talking about is TRON. You can see the original trailer HERE, but what you really need to check out is the more modernized trailer though still for the 1982 version. Continue reading TRON 1982 Trailer with a Modern Feel

Anymore, it seems the days of the week go just as fast as the weekend. Here it is Wednesday already, and I have not told you about my weekend or anything else for that matter.
I have however, been working on a few things behind the scenes. The contact form appears to be working now, and I also found an issue with actually registering. To my best knowledge, this should all be resolved. At least in testing it all seemed to work as it should.
Anyhow, as for my weekend, Saturday I took a trip with a couple of other guys up to Crown King for the first annual 4WD Appreciation Day. It sure got crowded quick though, mainly with side-by-sides being more prevalent then 4×4′s. Fun times none the less, and after we went and did a little random exploring on the way down. I must say, it is absolutely amazing the way the desert is looking these days, especially if you get anywhere near water. The flowers along the roads are the best I’ve seen since I’ve lived here.
